Location The mountain hotel is situated at the heart of the tourist resort Malá Morávka, forming a gateway to the most beautiful parts of the protected landscape area of Jeseníky. Only 8 km from here there is the highest mountain of Moravia – Praděd (1492 m) surrounded by a nature reservation. The area is easily accessible by train, bus or car. It has something to offer at any season – wonderful hiking and cycling facilities as well as downhill and cross-country skiing. Amenities and Services We offer: - double bedrooms with a balcony - studio apartments (two double bedrooms with shared bathroom and hall) - suite of rooms (bedrooms, hall, mainroom, kitchenette limited number) The rooms are situated on two floors. There is a bathroom at each room with a bath or shower-bath. Groups of 14-20 guests can be accomodated at the separated wings of the building. In our hotel can sleep up to 120 people. Parking is available at a private car park at the hotel, there is also a garage to let. Pets are allowed. Rooms are comfortably furnished and silent. There is a restaurant, a nightclub, rooms for conferences, clubrooms as well as both out- and indoors sport facilities – a gym, a sportsground, a playground, sauna, a fitness room, a swimming pool and a minigolf course. Leisure Activities Downhill skiing: There is a ski-tow In the very vicinity of the hotel (50 m), where you can ski up till night. The biggest ski-centre of Jeseníky, Malá Morávka – Karlov, is located only 2 km far from hotel Neptun. There are hills for both professional skiers as well as for beginners. We offer transportation from the hotel-arrangement necessary. The well known ski-centre Ovčárna, Petrovy kameny, Praděd (8 km far from the hotel) is accesible by local transport, transport from the hotel may be arranged at the reception desk. Cross-country skiing: Well- maintained and well-marked, the cross-country trails follow the „Jeseníky main line“ Malá Morávka - Karlova Studánka - Praděd - Červenohorské sedlo - Keprník - Šerák – Ramzová. We are willing to negotiate the lending of skis and other equipment, ski school etc. The climate around Praděd guarantees good conditions for skiing from December to April. Hiking: There are trails for both a demanding hiker and families with children, every single one is is perfectly marked and you simply cannot lose your way. The trails are provided with information boards which will tell you more about the country and its specialties. The most important route of the area leads from Malá Morávka-Karlov via The Great Basin (Velká kotlina) under the mountain of Praděd to Peter´s stones (Petrovy kameny). This trail enables the hikers to encounter a variety of rare species of plants and is among the most significant botanical areas of the Central Europe. In the neighbourhood of the hotel (up to 10 km) we recommend: National Nature Reserve Praděd; Peter´s stones, veiled by many folk legends; Bílá Opava nature trail, leading through the romantic-looking canyon of a mountain river; Karlova Studánka spa, etc. The forests of Jeseník are abundant with berries and mushrooms as well. Cycling trails follow less busy roads, country lanes and pathways. We recommend the trail Kotelní potok - Mravencovka - Alfrédka - Skřítek, which starts right at Malá Morávka. Mountain bikes can be borrowed at the hotel.
