Pension Koekoek - Accommodation in Prague

Pension Koekoek is very nice pension situated in beautiful Prague. Since 1998 (after another reconstruction and modernisation of the pension) pension Koekoek has been providing accommodation in two apartments. Each of them has a separate entry without barriers. The rooms are equipped with a TV set, telephone, and mini bar. The whole pension Koekoek is heated centrally by gas heating. You have a washing machine at your disposal.

Pension Koekoek offers accommodation in two apartments:

• APARTMENT A
  "Red room" - 1x double room (+extra bed), telephone, TV, mini bar.
  "Blue room " - 2x single room (+extra bed), and a kitchen (electrical range, coffee maker, fridge), telephone, TV. Bathroom - toilet, shower, sink.
  
• APARTMENT B:
  1 double room (2x single bed), mini bar, telephone, TV. Bathroom - toilet, shower, sink. 1 room with four beds (1x double bed + 2x single bed), telephone, TV. Bathroom - bath with a shower, sink, WC. Kitchen-cum-living-room with a fireplace - gas cooker, coffee maker, fridge with a freezer, complete equipment of the kitchen + dining corner (table for 6 people).

You will have a nice garden in Japanese style with a sitting on the terrace at your disposal. You can borrow a bike or other sport equipment.

Pension Koekoek - Location

Where to find Pension Koekoek:

At the south border of Prague at the doorstep of the recreational area of Kunratice forest (walking, jogging, riding a bike, swimming, squash, tennis - all within the area of 2 km.) Park in Průhonice (about 8 km from our pension) with its botanical gardens has got its romantic glamour in each season. The situation of our pension is very suitable for visiting of well known historical monuments - e. g. Konopiště and Hluboká chateaux and you can see also the architectonic jewels like the towns Kutná Hora and Český Krumlov.

Way description if you go by car.
(If you use another means of transport we shall - on your request -pick you up at the railway station or at the airport and we also will ensure the transport to the pension). If you come to Prague from the west, you will drive for motorway ring communication (E 50), which forms the connection between the D 5 motorway (Prague - Plzeň) and the D 1 motorway (Prague - Brno). You will drive over the new Barrandov bridge across the river Vltava. After about 1 km you will pass McDonald's restaurant on your right and a petrol station - now exit Krč - Libuš will come, you will leave the motorway at this point and drive up to the hill, then there will be traffic lights, go straight on and approximately after 2 km the Libuš quarter is going to begin. Drive on to the centre of this quarter (you will pass the restaurant and the post office) and you will come to the crossing, where you will turn left (direction Kunratice). In this street (Dobronická) you will find our pension after about 100 m (it is a corner house number 12).
