Apartment Hotel Amadeus - Prague accommodation
Prague Aparment Hotel Amadeus, belonging to the category 3 star Prague hotels, offers its client pleasant Prague accommodation near city centre, suitable for business travellers, with spacious suites for families with children.
Hotel Amadeus is located near Prague center in Zizkov district, only three stations of public transportation from the Wenceslas Square. Hotel complex consists of two buildings connected by a corridor and one entrance into joint reception. The three floor part of the hotel offers mostly two-beds rooms. Some of the rooms are accessible from the gallery – a specific feature of older houses in this part of Prague. A terrace above the reception is well suited for comfortable sitting and is connected to the adjacent part of hotel. The five floor part of the hotel offers mostly accommodation in spacious apartments for 2 – 6 persons. This part of the hotel is equipped with an elevator; some apartments are furnished with a kitchen.
Hotel Amadeus is a joint composition of a newly constructed building (in 1999) and a refurbished typical building of a Prague district. Hotel Amadeus provides for accommodation near Prague center. Apart from that, families with children and others can enjoy spacious apartments and businessmen appreciate free wi-fi connection in entire hotel area.In the previous century, the old Žižkov Borough used to be a centre of well known as well as less known artisans and personalities of the Czech culture. The clients can use a rich selection of restaurants and bars in the vicinity of the hotel, which is situated in a quiet street. Some 250 m far from the hotel there is a public transport line in the Seifert Street. There are also shops, banks, hair dressers, manicurists, massage salons and a fitness centre.
The non-stop reception offers hygienic aids, beverages and snacks.
The hotel accepts payments in CZK, EUR and credit cards MC, VISA, AMEX, Dinners, JCV. You can use the hotel’s exchange office.
The hotel allows dogs and pets for the fee of EUR 6 per night.
In the reception you can borrow a hair dryer, electric kettle or an iron.
The guests can rent the hotel safe to store their documents and valuables in the reception or in some rooms.
The reception offers and arranges transfers, folklore evenings, boat cruises with programme or without programme, Prague sightseeing, tickets to theatres and museums.
The hotel gives a map of Prague to all guests with reservation, including the important information. As a souvenir, the hotel offers books by Czech writers and illustrators as well as handmade marionettes.
Rooms of the Prague Hotel Amadeus:
All the rooms and suites have their own shower and toilet, heating, direct dial telephone, TV with a satellite. Some rooms and suites have balconies. In all rooms the windows can be opened and in the summer there are fans available in the rooms. The hotel does not have air conditioning. The hotel rooms face the street or the yard.
Most rooms and suites have floor covered with carpets, some rooms and suites have tiles on the floor. The bed blankets and the curtains match each other’s colour. The bedside tables have lamps and the walls are decorated with coloured or black-n-white paintings. Most rooms offer a free wireless internet connection.
The five storey hotel building offers accommodation in two or three bed rooms and in spacious four bed suites with an extra bed option. Some rooms and suites include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a ceramic hotplate stove. The hotel section has mostly double bed rooms, without an elevator.
Services of the Hotel Amadeus:
Above the reception, in the first storey atrium, there is a terrace with tables and chairs to sit in on hot summer days.
The AMADEUS Hotel has its garages on two underground storeys in the new hotel building. The price is 10 EUR per day (the parking must be booked in advance, as it is not guaranteed for all clients) .
Prague 3 as well as Prague 1 and 2 are in the “blue zone”, where parking is possible only in selected places for CZK 40 per hour. In case of wrong parking, you risk having your car towed away by police and you will be fined.
The breakfasts are served in the hotel restaurant on the basement.
Breakfasts are served every day between 7.30 and 10.30.
The breakfast offers coffee, tea, juice, milk, cold and hot buffet table including fruit and vegetables and pastry.
A good meal in a nice environment will give you enough energy for a whole day of sightseeing in the capital Prague

In the menu you find a large selection of fresh and salt pancakes, grilled meat with special sauces, meat and vegetable meatless bowls and many other delicacies. Looking forward to your visit.
Public transportation to the Prague Hotel Amadeus:
- From Prague Ruzyne Airport – by bus no. 119 to the terminus station Dejvicka, change for tram no. 26 and ride into Husinecka station, go along the direction of the tram, take the first on the left and another on the right, and you will come to Kostnicke namesti square, cross over the square and follow to Dalimilova street, where you will find hotel Amadeus on the right side.
- From Main Railway Station (Wilson railway station) – go out of the railway station hall, go through the park to the trams no. 5, 9 or 26 and ride one of them to Husinecka station, go along the direction of the tram, take the first on the left and another on the right, and you will come to Kostnicke namesti square, cross over the square and follow to Dalimilova street, where you will find hotel Amadeus on the right side.
- From Prague Holesovice Railway Station – by underground to Main Railway station - go through the park to the trams no. 5, 9 or 26 and ride one of them to Husinecka station, go along the direction of the tram, take the first on the left and another on the right, and you will come to Kostnicke namesti square, cross over the square and follow to Dalimilova street, where you will find hotel Amadeus on the right side.
